Habia Live will be rolling into Plymouth this April as the Habia Skills Team bring the latest instalment of their innovative and inspiring hair and barbering show to southwest England.

And Habia Live Plymouth will be the first to feature a new format that allows audience members to get up close to the demonstrations and styles!

Held at the St Mellion International Resort, St Mellion, Saltash, near Plymouth on 4 April 2011 in partnership with awarding body VTCT, the show will feature demonstrations from team manager Erik Lander with MK, Ross Miller, David Morgan and Malachy Weatherall, showing how the latest styles and fashions can be achieved in the salon through vocational training - emphasising the link between gaining qualifications such as NVQs and the workplace skills that meet customer demand.

Habia has expanded the roadshow format to include more exhibitors and more demonstrations, with up close and interactive sessions from the Habia Skills Team in the exhibition area before and after the show, as well as during a half time break - making sure there are plenty of opportunities to see the styles up close.

Habia Live has proven extremely popular throughout the UK, performing to sold-out audiences of enthusiastic hairdressers across the country and offering salon professionals and employers the chance to see up close the latest styles and learn cutting edge techniques on how to improve their careers and businesses,

Erik Lander said, "It's important that salon professionals and managers upgrade their skills to maintain their competitive edge. Salons that invest in training and developing the skills of their staff will be able to meet client demand and continue to grow their business. The best way to explain something to someone is to show them. That's what the Skills Team do they show you new cuts, techniques and new fashions whilst also encouraging salon staff and managers to take a positive approach to learning.

The show will also feature top manufacturers, suppliers, colleges, training providers and representatives from awarding body VTCT in the exhibition area giving hairdressing professionals the chance to find out more on qualifications and business guidance.
