To become a Habia Member School an organization must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a registered company
  • Have been established for a minimum of a year
  • Maintained centre approval with a recognized Awarding Organisation
  • o CIBTAC
  • o City & Guilds
  • o Edexcel, part of the Pearson Education Ltd
  • o ITEC
  • o SQA
  • o VTCT
  • o Other
  • Deliver recognized qualifications within the Hair and Beauty Sector on the QCF
  • Maintains an established learning or working environment which meets the standards set by Habia.
  • Be familiar with the Habia National Occupational Standards and Assessments Strategies (these are available on our website free of charge at http://www.habia.org/)
  • Signed the Member School Declaration and agreed to the Member School terms and conditions
