Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is about keeping up to date with the latest treatments, products, techniques, equipment and business developments. If you are an assessor or verifier, CPD is compulsory. But if you are not an assessor or verifier, it can be equally useful.

What does CPD involve?

CPD PlannerCPD starts with the identification of where an industry professional is at the moment in their career.  When they have completed these activates they can plan, undertake and record their development over the next twelve months.

A minimum number of hours is required to satisfy the Habia CPD programme, which will help professionals keep up-to-date with changes and developments in industry.

The minimum number of CPD hours that should be completed is 30 hours per year.

These CPD hours can be accumulated in various ways and these are explained further in the CPD Provider Pack.
