The Diploma will allow learners to mix school studies with work related learning, providing a broader learning experience whilst letting them discover more about the world of work and career opportunities. It will provide learners with the skills that employers and universities look for, knowledge that will be useful for the workplace or training, and the experience to make an informed career choice.
The Diploma will give students transferable that employers and universities need, and the knowledge necessary for work and further training. 
The Diploma provides a demanding and relevant programme of learning, with pathways to accommodate a wide range of aspirations, including university.
