Habia and the Nail Manufacturers Council (NMC) of the USA have teamed up to issue international guidance for nail technicians and nail businesses.  

The guidance, which covers everything from MMA, skin exposure and properly disinfecting equipment, is designed to complement the Code of Practice for Nail Services that Habia published in 2007.


Consisting of four downloadable documents, the guidance includes:  

Guidelines for the use of Methyl Methacrylate Monomor (MMA)
Guidelines for controlling and minimising exposure to nail products
Guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting manicuring and enhancement equipment
Guidelines for controlling and minimising inhalation exposure to nail products
