Frequently Asked Questions
Questions
VTCT offer NVQ (National Vocational Qualifications) as well as the VQ (Vocational Qualification). Both types of qualifications are fully recognised for insurance and within the industry. However, a VQ does not have the emphasis on performing treatments on a full range of different paying clients, nor the rigour of observations and assessments as a NVQ has. The NVQ has the emphasis on practical and knowledge, as in preparation for work, rather than occupational competence as a ready to work qualification.
