If you look in the 'Supporting Learning Providers' section of the Habia website you will find a document called the Assessment Strategy. This states which units in the NVQs require mandatory written questions. Level 1 is flexible and can be tested by oral questioning also. Awarding bodies should provide you with this information including all written papers. There is no simulation allowed other than for G4 so they must work in a realistic reception area and greet clients, assist the receptionist etc to meet the practical requirements of G2.
