Development
DevelopmentTo develop as a new Habia Partner, we need to look at 3 areas of development

1 - Agreement - You need to sign an international partnership agreement with Habia to license the HIQ qualifications for use in your educational service provider centres. Your license agreement will allocate a territory and may offer the exclusive rights to you in this named territory.

Usually the area covered by the license will be a country but we may offer a single regional license if appropriate. Habia would then provide all the teaching materials you require along with the permission to sub-license other academies, colleges and schools to offer HIQs in your territory.

2 - Training - Habia would arrange a training course to teach your trainers how to use the Habia/VTCT quality assurance frameworks. This will take around 5 days and can take place either at your school or offices or in the UK at Habia's headquarters in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

Please note that Doncaster is 140 miles north of London, and at least one hour fourty minutes by train and three hours by car. If you are arranging to visit Habia, then it may be quicker and cheaper for you to arrive at Doncaster's own airport (Robin Hood Airport Doncaster/Sheffield) or via Leeds/Bradford Airport, East Midlands (Nottingham/Leicester/Derby) Airport, Humberside Airport or Manchester Airport.

3 - Centre Approval - To complete the set-up of your HIQ training, VTCT will visit your initial training centre to provide advice and assistance which will enable your staff and facilities to reach international standards.  VTCT will assess your resources and teaching facilities, looking at isssues such as environment, health and safety and good working practices.

They will speak to your staff and advise on requirements for CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and further training.
