NVQs and SVQs are already recognised throughout the European Union as the official qualifications for hairdressing and beauty in the UK.

But Habia's international aim is to move beyond the EU and achieve worldwide recognition for our standards, allowing anyone with a qualification based on the Habia standards the right to take up employment in any country without the need to take another test or exam.

The following document provides information for industry professionals wishing to use NVQs and HIQs as their international passport. It shows the acceptance of these qualifications across the ICLO (International Cosmetology Licensing Agreement) countries including individual states in the USA.
