Reciprocity
ICLO is the International Cosmetology Licensing Organisation established in 2007 by Habia and the National Cosmetology Association in the USA.The reciprocity agreement under the ICLO banner gives anyone holding a Habia NVQ in Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy or Nail Services at Level 3 the opportunity to have their qualifications recognised in those states. This means anyone who has already achieved this standard should be authorised to work as a hairdresser or beauty therapist in those states without the need for the further technical or language exams.
The countries that Habia has reached this agreement with are:
- United States of America (38 states; Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Delaware, District of Colombia, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Virgina, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, plus Puerto Rico and Guam)
