Apprenticeship Certificates reduced to £25 with immediate effect (England only)Posted: Wednesday 13 April 2011
The government has announced that the cost of Apprenticeship certificates has been reduced from £30 to £25. The cost of a reprint or copy certificate will also be £25 (including VAT). The price changes come into effect from 13 April 2011.
The change comes after the enactment of the Apprenticeship, Schools and Children Act 2009 (ASCL Act) on 6 April 2011, which covers a number of issues affecting Apprenticeships including how they are certificated in England.
A decision on a new certificate design and claim process is expected imminently from government, and will be communicated to Habia Apprenticeship providers when confirmed. There may be a slight delay in Apprenticeship certification for applications received from 13 April 2011 onwards, but it is expected to recommence by end of April 2011.
This delay is beyond Habia's control as certificates and claim form requirements will be provided centrally to Habia. Please do not make any applications for certificates until the new form is provided by the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS).
Keep checking the Habia website at www.habia.org for further information.
