Habia hits Scotland with Hair Live show

Posted: Tuesday 31 July 2012

The Habia Skills Team is on the road again and will be in Falkirk on 10 September 2012 with the latest instalment of their innovative and inspiring hair and barbering show, Hair Live.

The Falkirk show will be held at the Macdonald Inchyra Hotel and Spa, Polmont, Falkirk in partnership with awarding body VTCT.

Onstage demonstrations will feature Habia Skills Team Creative Director Malachy Weatherall with Ross Miller, David Morgan and MK. Ellenora Dean and Emma Moore will be on hand offering up-close styling tips in the demonstration before the show and during the break, whilst Anne Miller will be providing tips on colouring.

Make-up for the models on the night will be provided by Jennifer Lenard.

The Hair Live shows demonstrate how the latest styles and fashions can be achieved in the salon through vocational training - emphasising the link between gaining qualifications such as NVQs/SVQs and the workplace skills that meet customer demand.

Offering salon professionals and employers the chance to see up close the latest styles and learn cutting edge techniques on how to improve their careers and businesses, the Hair Live shows have proven extremely popular throughout the UK, performing to sold-out audiences of enthusiastic hairdressers across the country.

Malachy Weatherall said, "It's ever more important that salon professionals update their skills in order to keep their competitive edge. Salons that invest in training and developing their staff are better able to meet client demand and continue to grow their business."

He added, "The best way to explain something to someone is to show them. That's what the Skills Team do - they show you new cuts, techniques and new fashions whilst also encouraging salon staff and managers to take a positive approach to learning."

Registration and demonstration zone events start at 5.30pm, with the main show kicking off at 6.30pm and finishing at 9pm.

Tickets cost £15 per person. Buy two tickets and get the third free.
