Become a Habia International Partner?

If you would like to become a Habia International Partner, Habia can provide you and your country with a license to use the Habia Standards in your schools and salons.

To develop as a new Habia Partner, there are 3 areas of development

  1. Agreement

    • Partners sign an international partnership agreement with Habia to license the HIQ qualifications for use in their educational service provider centres. The license agreement will allocate a territory and may offer the exclusive rights to your organisation in this named country.
    • Usually the area covered by the license will be a country but Habia may offer a single regional license if appropriate. Habia would then provide all the teaching materials required along with the permission to sub-license other academies, colleges and schools to offer HIQs in that country.
  2. Training

    • Habia would arrange a training course to teach your trainers how to use the Habia/VTCT quality assurance frameworks. This will take around 5 days and can take place either at your school or offices or in the UK at Habia’s headquarters in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
  3. Centre Approval

    • To complete the set-up of your HIQ training, VTCT will visit your initial training centre to provide advice and assistance which will enable your staff and facilities to reach international standards. VTCT will assess your resources and teaching facilities, looking at issues such as environment, health and safety and good working practices.
    • VTCT will speak to your staff and advise on requirements for CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and further training.

Advice and Guidance

Habia is able to offer a range of advice and guidance to international partners that would not otherwise be available.
This includes specific guidance on qualifications and government requirements, learning packs to help both educators and students navigate their way through the HIQs and advice on health and safety legislation and employment law in the UK and European Union.
International partners can also gain to access to the knowledge and experience of the Habia Skills Teams, which performs live on stage at events, conferences and exhibitions across the world.
The Skills Teams demonstrate the latest cutting edge UK styles and techniques and show how the necessary skills can be achieved through NVQs and HIQs.
